Welcome to Chew Park Badminton Club

Welcome to Chew Park Badminton Club for the 2008-09 season.  Based in Keynsham, near to both Bristol and Bath, we are a friendly competitive badminton club where players can play to enjoy and improve their game.  We cater for a range of abilities, using feather shuttles for both matches and club nights, although the club is not suitable for beginners.

Our club nights are well attended and are fun and competitive.  We enter men's, ladies' and mixed teams into the Bristol and the Mid. Gloucestershire Leagues competing at a range of levels.

Club Nights

Our club nights are played at Keynsham Leisure Centre every Monday night from 19:30 to 22:30 between the 1^st September and the 31^st March (excluding Bank Holidays).  We use feather shuttles and we play on two courts.

Visitors are welcome, £3.50 per night up to a maximum of three visits.

Matches

All our 6 teams play their home matches at Keynsham Leisure Centre on Friday nights from 19:30 to 22:30.

Match fees for all matches are £2 per match.

Membership

Membership fees are payable in two instalments, 1st instalment in September and 2nd instalment in November.  The fee for the season is £105, which includes all shuttle fees.

Junior fees are also available.

BAE affiliation can be paid at Chew Park or any other Club.  Chew Park Badminton Club is registered with Badminton England and the club and all its members (visitors) are committed to implementing the Equal Opportunities and Child Protection Policies, details of which are available from a Committee member or via the Avon or Badminton England web sites.
